The Internet recently had their biggest moment yet when their Ego Death album was nominated for a Grammy Award. However, instead of following it up with another album straight away, their next move is to prove each of their talents as solo artists. The Odd Future band are guests on Pharrell and Scott Vener’s OTHERtone show on Beats 1 this weekend, but we’ve got a glimpse of the interview before it airs in full.
In the clip, they introduce themselves with their role in the group and talk about upcoming solo projects. “More than anything, you’ll see what we all add to The Internet as individuals,” Syd says. “My album, you’ll probably say “oh okay, I get it, she probably writes a lot of it. And with Steve [Lacy]’s album, you’ll hear the chords and the guitar.”
