With multiple large events such as E3, X-Games, the World Cup and HAW taking place this week, we knew we were gonna be in for a doozy. With you probably not being able to find the time to keep up with all of what went down and more, we’re sure you missed out on some if not all of the good shit that happened throughout the past seven days. So let’s get right to it.
At the top of the week we got word that a Childish Gambino and Chance The Rapper EP was in the works, Lykke Li announced her “I Never Learn” tour, while Drake and Lil Wayne are going head to head announcing their joint “Drake vs. Lil Wayne” tour, 50 Cent’s new album debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts and Pharrell stopped back home to Virginia Beach and was honored with the keys to the city.
On the music tip, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul dropped four songs on us that saw features from Pharrell and The Dream, other tracks came from Mack Wilds, Ab-Soul, Santigold, Meek Mill and plenty others. Giving us full length projects for us to jam out this week came from Sam Smith, K Camp, Klaxons and a couple others.
