Already into the third week of June, the past seven days kept up the pace of the month as we got news that Angie Martinez resigned from her long tenure at Hot 97 only to join Power 105 a day later, Sir Michael Rocks, Ab-Soul, Robin Thicke and The Underachievers revealed the artwork and track listings to their respective albums and details of the upcoming N.W.A. and Aaliyah biopics were released.
Throughout the week we got singles from Mike WiLL Made It, G-Unit, Puff Daddy, T.I., Troy Ave, Ed Sheeran and many others. Those who kept us entertained with full length projects were Lana Del Rey, Jennifer Lopez, RiFF RaFF, The 2014 XXL Freshman class and plenty others.
Taking over stages to put on a show for the packed crowds, we saw performances from Atmosphere, Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige, Lil Boosie and a few others.
