The final week of June seemed to be the slowest one of the month, while it was slow we still got a fair share of music, lives performances, sport updates and everything else we bring to you in our weekly SMASH up to get us through the week.
This week many artist released and announced details for their upcoming tours and among those artist were The Weeknd, Vince Staples, Audio Push and Chromeo, other news form the week came from Frank Ocean as he decided to part ways with his managment team and Chuck D shared a personal letter he received from 2Pac.
Artist who provided the soundtracks to our week and released new music were The LOX, Wiz Khalifa, Jhene Aiko, Mobb Deep, Ma$e, G-Unit, Lil Wayne and many more. While artist like Trey Songz, G-Eazy, Gucci Mane, Ed Sheeran and a few others presented us with streams for their upcoming or recently released albums.
While their weren’t many live performances throughout the week, we still saw the boy Nasir hit the stage at Radio City Music Hall to perform at Dave Chappelle’s event, SZA was accompanied by K. Dot and Mac Miller to perform a few tracks and Tech N9ne made his late night television on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he had many of his Strange Music crew on stage to assist him with putting on a show for the crowd.
