The Week OnSMASH [7.12.14]

TheWeekOnSMASH_7-11-14

Following last weeks rather slow seven days, this week was a pretty solid one as we saw an eventful week for Philly rapper Meek Mill, who went from announcing the release date for his sophomore album to exchanging words with his MMG cohort Wale, to being placed in jail for violating his probation. Other news cam from Jhene Aiko relieving the release date for her debut album, Blu & MED announcing their Bad Neighbor tour and much more.

Keeping it busy this week on the music side of things we received new tracks from Juicy J, Kid Ink, Rico Love, James Fauntleroy, Usher, Future and many others. Delivering full length projects to us this week were The-Dream, Lil Durk, B.o.B., Young Thug and plenty other artists.

While we didn’t have many live performances this week, Kanye West made up for that as we checked him out performing live from the Wireless Festival as well as Sylvan Esso touching the stage of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a late night performance.

Keep up with everything over the past seven days with The Week OnSMASH.
