A few days ago, The Weeknd made his return to limelight, on Gesaffelstein’s new hit-single, “Lost in Fire.” With buzz surrounding the cut, due to some subliminal shots at Drake, Abel took to social media to share some eye-raising news. In comparison to recent cross-over content he’s shared, the Toronto native revealed that he’s doing no more pop songs for his upcoming untitled album.
The X.O. rep hasn’t been seen since 2016’s Starboy album, and his My Dear Melancholy EP from last March. Fans of his House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence days should be mainly intrigued about this news. Let us know in the comments what you think.
