Thundercat received a ton of praise for his latest album Drunk (rightly so) and toured the music across the world, but he hasn’t released any videos from it – until now. This week, the Los Angeles musician is sharing its first video for the track “Tokyo.”
Directed by Jun Hanamoto-Hearn, the new visuals finds Thundercat in the capital of Japan, making his way around toy shops and rocking Dragon Ball Z gear. A place he sings about on the song, Gundam Café, shows up, and he also finds a copy of his album in a store.
