For the fifth week running, Tierra Whack is back with new music. Her latest is called “Unemployed,” and finds her straight up rapping.
“Rap got boring to me for a long time so I just started singing more,” Tierra told Zane Lowe. “But it was one of those days where I was home recording in Philly, Kenete (Simms) played the beat and it was just hitting. I was like, you know what, people think I can’t rap anymore, I gotta rap.”
Her mom was also in the studio with her during the making of it, and helped her with the hook. Shout out to the couch potato artwork, too.
