DJ Premier’s protege Torii Wolf has been testing the waters over the past year with songs like “1st,” “Shadows Crawl” and “Body.” Now, the Los Angeles singer is ready to release her debut album titled Flow Riiot, which is set for release on September 29th.
To kick off the campaign, Torii is sharing the new pre-order single “Free,” which features a verse from Macklemore and scratches by DJ Premier. “‘Free’ is a special tune. It’s very relatable,” she says. “True freedom comes from within; it’s the battle we face each day with our own identity. Having the confidence to be comfortable in our skin and with who we are; and being our true authentic selves. I find the content of someone else’s mind most attractive.”
