Toro Y Moi has collaborated with jazz duo The Mattson 2 for an entire project titled Chaz Bundick Meets The Mattson 2. For those who weren’t aware, they will be dropping on March 31 and the two released the single “Star Stuff” a few months ago. If that wasn’t enough, before we get the project, they have cooked up a THUMP Mix full of music you probably never heard before.
From Swedish psych, Hungarian guitarists and Italian prog, this mix is unlike anything you’d probably hear regularly. We’re fucking with it, though. Even if we don’t understand what the fuck anyone is saying on a lot of the tracks.
