With the holidays coming to an end, Taylor Swift’s Reputation album closed out 2017 with a monster week in expected physical sales for gifts. With Ed Sheeran’s Divide album right behind, Travis Scott and Quavo have a lot to celebrate on New Year’s Eve tonight.
The two-southern rappers managed to score a no. 3 debut on the Billboard 200, for their recently released album, Hunco Jack, Jack Huncho. The pushed 90,000 units, with 17,000 being traditional album sales – largely thanks the effort gaining over 105.3 million streams during the week.
This marks Scott’s third top 10 debut, as his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and Rodeo efforts both appeared atop the Billboard 200. While Quavo is yet to drop an official solo debut, it’s expected that Migos’ CULTURE II will be a lock for a no. 1 spot in a few weeks.
