Trey Songz has turned himself into the LAPD to face a felony domestic violence charge. The singer was reportedly booked at 6am and released at 8am on a $50,000 bond.
Last month, the singer was accused of hitting a woman named Andrea Buera at a party in Los Angeles. Her lawyer stated, “He called her names, choked her and repeatedly punched her in the face.”
However, in a series of tweets today, Songz said, “I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain.”
For weeks my lawyers & Mgmt have asked me not to comment on this and I initially agreed but this morning I feel that my fam, the women that raised me, my friends & fans especially the youth need to hear from me. I am being lied on and falsely accused for someone’s personal gain
