Tuxedo are always supplying the grooves, but they’re taking things to whole another level with their latest release.
Today, Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One have teamed up with legendary ’80s funk band Zapp for their new single, “Shy.” “Girl don’t be so shy, I know you wanna dance, come on take a chance,” Mayer sings on the hook. “I could be your ride, I’ve seen that look before, get out on the floor.”
The duo are giving the kids of the 2010s something to get down to, and paying homage to some of the greats while doing so.
