We love the smooth sounds of Tuxedo around these parts, including the fact that they always pay homage to the old school. Usually they take it back to the ’70s funk but for this remix of “Vibrations,” the duo of Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One are channeling the New Jack Swing era for the Tuxedo III single. The record sounds precisely like the early ’90s and everything we loved about the era. We’re adding this to our R&B playlist ASAP.
