Exactly one year ago today, Mac Miller‘s incredible ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ was released and has spread far and wide as one of his final performances before he sadly passed away.
To mark the occasion, Mac’s friend and collaborator Ty Dolla $ign put on a special perfomance of their collaboration, “Cinderella.” He was joined by Thundercat and Justus West, who performed with Mac in his set a year ago, as well as Cory Henry, Aliandro Prawl and Mike Moore.
The tribute wasn’t actually planned, either. While Ty was recording a ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ of his own, he was reminded at the end that Mac sat at the desk 12 months ago — this sparked them to do one more song.
