Last spring, alternative-indie rock band Vampire Weekend finally gave us the long-awaited follow-up to their 2010 critically acclaimed album Contra, with the release for Modern Vampires of the City. While the quartet decided to go with singles “Ya Hey” and “Diane Young” for greater appeal, we’re glad their album cut “Step” gets an official remix today.
The group’s fellow NYC natives Heems and Despot join the track along with Danny Brown adding some rhymes to the Wintertime Remix. After you listen above, check after the jump for a download link provided by VW on Twitter, and look for them at next year’s GRAMMY Awards.
