Over the weekend, the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards were taped in Miami, and an incident with Vic Mensa became the biggest story of the show. Apparently, Vic participated in a cypher freestyle for the Viacom Network and mentioned XXXTentacion’s name – which some felt offended.
However, it was revealed that the late rapper’s mom was present, and unfortunately witnessed the freestyle for Mensa. Well, after receiving some input on what happened, Vic hit up social to give his take on what happened at the show. The BET Awards air October 16, 2018, 8:00 PM EDT.
