It’s not often that artists do a short film in support of their new project but Vince Staples isn’t most artists. He has just shared a new visual for Prima Donna, which is trippy (and that’s just an understatement). The 10-minute clip finds Vince in a state of hallucination, as he maneuvers through different places and tries to figure out what the fuck is going on. All the meanwhile, short clips of his latest effort play (ie. “War Ready,” “Let It Shine,” “Smile” etc.)
He starts off at a video shoot, then somehow makes it to a parking garage, a hotel room and on a deserted island. We won’t spoil the end, but let’s just say shit ends tragic.
