“I was just disgusted”
Waka Flocka has recently cancelled a show at the University of Oklahoma for their SAE fraternity, after footage of their students performing a racist chants went viral. Flockaveli has actually performed for them before and he felt very welcome and part of their fraternity the first time around, but after watching the viral clip, he felt disappointed and disgusted.
CNN had a talk with Flocka to hear his side of the story, as he explains that his music is supposed to bring people together and was utterly shocked at the clip. He doesn’t condone any racism at his shows or in his life, which is why he decided to cancel the show at OSU.
Two of the students in the video have been expelled as a result.
