After dropping teasers over the past week, Wale is finally sharing a video for his Jacquees collaboration, “Black Bonnie.”
Directed by Yasha Gruben, the new visual celebrates black love and plays out like Bonnie and Clyde, as Wale takes to the throne in Africa. “Talk to you different, but never extra,” Wale raps on the record. “She like the fact I get aggressive but I’m not possessive.” Ashley Blaine Featherson from Dear White People stars in the video.
Wale signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records earlier this year, so expect more music to drop soon.
