Here’s performances from the big event you may have missed!
Tonight marks the sixteenth annual edition of the BET Awards summer event at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony, which was hosted by Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross focuses on the life on the icon Prince, who passed away last April.
The special event is set to feature numerous tributes to the artist from the likes of Erykah Badu, Bilal, The Roots, D’Angelo, Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, Jennifer Hudson, and of course Sheila E.
If you missed the live show, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Young Thug, Desiigner, Bryson Tiller and Alicia Keys were among the standout performers of the nearly four-hour event.
