The hype is at an all-time high for J. Cole‘s new album KOD. Although there were reports that surfaced about what actually meant, Cole is explaining it once again through the trailer for the album. In the video, we hear a chopped and screwed voice speaking, giving a break down of every title that it stands for.
From Kids on Drugs to Kill Our Demons and King Overdosed. The first title represents how we’ve become a pill popping society and how everyone stays medicated thanks to these pharmaceutical corporations. The second title is the deepest and shows how a person show do away with those internal demons that they grew up with or have from childhood. The last one represents Cole himself, and how sometimes runs to alcohol or women or whatever means of escape.
