The COVID-19 pandemic has shut down concerts, festivals and awards shows but the show must go on for the MTV VMA’s. It was announced that the show would not take place at the Barclays Center because of the virus, but MTV has decided to bring the show outside. The likes of The Weeknd, Roddy Ricch, J Balvin, Maluma, Doja Cat and more will be performing at select locations across New York City for the 2020 Video Music Awards.
The VMA’s are set to air at 8pm EST on Sunday, August 30 and will be hosted by Keke Palmer.
