For a minute now, Westside Boogie has been releasing freestyle videos rapping over other people’s beats. Now he’s back with an original song and it’s an introspective one. On the soulful record titled “Float,” the Compton MC actually does that, all over the record.
We’ll see if this is a step in the direction of an album.
