XXX goes to the big time
In late August, XXXTentacion dropped his debut album, 17, which went to gain praise from the likes of Kendrick Lamar and many more. With the effort moving over 313,000 units since its release, Billboard has reported today that the South Florida musician has inked a major deal. XXX has now signed a one-off album deal with Capitol Music Group, which is being reported to be $6 million.
The 19-year-old rapper has unfortunately seen legal issues follow him, throughout his rise to fame; including a battery and witness tampering charges for a trail set to begin on December 11th. It’s unclear if he’s readying an immediate follow-up to the 17 album; but fans will be getting a bigger presentation through the major, whenever he does feel his work is ready to go.
