‘Barter 7’ coming soon!
Back in 2015, when Lil Wayne was on the verge of getting clearance from Birdman to release his Carter V album, Young Thug started an unusual campaign for his own spin-off project – Carter 6. Well, to avoid legal issues (and rifts with both side of Ca$h Money), the Atlanta rapper-singer decided to title the project Barter 6, which became one of his most popular efforts to date.
After linking up with Drake last month to executive his Beautiful Thugger Girls debut album, Thugga is already back in the studio readying more content. This weekend, in-house producer Wheezy, confirmed that the Y.S.L. member was in the developmental stages for his upcoming Barter 7 mixtape; which we’re assuming more details will emerge before the fall.
