Last holiday, Young Thug was originally set to release his Slime Season 3 mixtape. However, manager and business partner, Lyor Cohen, had Thugga Thugga drop off his I’m Up project – leaving many confused on the whereabouts of the original promised effort. After confirming to fans that SS3 was still in the work, listeners finally receive the project after various delays.
Unlike the first two installments of the series, which featured an average of twenty tracks, the 1017 Thug has condensed this affair to just 8-tracks. With his major debut, Hy!£UN35, still in limbo, he’s also announced plans this week for a 13-date tour, that last the entire month of May.
