EXCLUSIVE: Black Hippy Album Rumors Emerge after Rare TDE Release Hits Streaming Services

That Ab-Soul verse is still classic. .

This year, TDE has been focused on promoting ScHoolboy Q’s CrasH Talk album, which is in follow-up to their Black Panther soundtrack in 2018. With SZA likely the next release from the Los Angeles giant, a random release from Black Hippy hit all streaming services a few days ago.

The crew’s “U.O.E.N.O. Remix” from 2013 hit Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal, including an artist page for the camp being created under IFE Music Group (see: Drake – Care Package). Well, word around the camp fire, is that a rumored project from the camp is STILL in the works.

In the past year, they cited scheduling issues holding back one of the most anticipated music projects of the century. Considering the next Kendrick Lamar album hasn’t been teased, Ab-Soul revealed in June that he was about 70 percent done with his next project.

With Jay Rock and Q both removed from recent major releases, we’ll be waiting for Top Dawg Entertainment to make an official announcement if the project will happen or not.

Need new Isaiah Rashad most all, though. .
