We don’t see rapstresses cover Maxim too often, but the magazine has enlisted Saweetie for their 2020 July/August issue. In the cover story, the Bay Area artist talks about a plethora of things, like what the word “pretty means,” how the pandemic has affected her and her backstory before she caught a buzz in rap.
She also talks about the upcoming album, which the magazine says:
The new project features tracks by producers like Dr. Luke, J White, and The Morgue as well as Danjahandz & Rob Knox. Timbaland produced a song called “Back to the Streets,” which she posted part of on Instagram.
