Back in the late 2000s, Wendy Williams brought up Charlamagne tha God to co-host her show on WBLS in New York. In that time, CTG earned early success under his protégé at the station, including being known to have controversial takes on celebrities’ lives.
Well, for whatever reason (which we’re not allowed to say), Charlamagne was fired from The Wendy Williams Experience and upstarted The Breakfast Club some time later. Over the last year, Wendy’s personal life has become a subject in headlines, including a public divorce going on now. This week, CTG officially offered an olive branch to his long-time entertainment mentor and gave her call.
