The Utah Jazz Will Be The League’s Most Underrated Team

Over the last three years, Quin Snyder and the front office the Utah Jazz have been looking to craft a team together that best suits Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward. With role players Alec Burks and Dante Exum ready to take the next step in their young careers, the team made veteran additions to the roster of Joe Johnson, George Hill and Boris Diaw – all who can contribute on both ends of the floor. Last year, the team suffered through injuries, which led to them missing the post-season by only a game; but this year we expect things to hopefully change.

Unfortunately, both players are starting the year on less concerning injuries, but they will still be a team that most will not like to see, even if it’s on their home court. Second year player, Dante Exum, is also expected to be a key contributor to the team, who’s had a few standout games this month in pre-season play. It’s unlikely that he’ll take the starting job away from veteran Hill in the early stages of the year, as coach Quin will be monitoring how the team of unselfish players mesh before the all-star break. Following a career high in points, we expect captains Favors and the LeBron-stopper, Hayward, to both increase their point production to 20 points each night.
