Paul George Will Be LeBron’s Only competition in the east

One of the most confusing things this year will be the Eastern Conference playoff picture – outside of the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Chicago, New York, Boston and Indiana all upgrading their rosters, as well Toronto still being in the mix, we’re still questionning how these teams will perform. However, one thing we do expect is that the Indiana Pacers will make the most noise out of the previously mentioned bunch. It all relies on Paul George, which we’re sure the current NBA 2K17 cover guy is fully embracing the challenge of meeting up with LeBron James at some point in the post-season.

Since breaking up their core in 2014, Larry Bird took the last two years to put a roster around his superstar that best suits him. After parting ways with Frank Vogel over the summer, Indiana soon hired Nate McMillan to fill his role as the team’s new head coach.

With focus centered on improving Myles Turner’s post game, Al Jefferson still being a major contributor on both ends of the floor and the likes the addition of Jeff Teague and Aaron Brooks to run the rock – we still haven’t mention George’s greatest complement.

Thaddeus Young, who in our opinion is the team’s x-factor of the entire playoffs, is one of the scariest additions to any team this off-season not named Kevin Durant, which he and Paul will be able to switch-off on guarding the three-and-four through cross screens and backdoor cuts.

We doubt PG13 is going for the regular season MVP award, as we’re expecting the 26-year-old kid from California to help propel his team back elite play in the East.
