Russell Westbrook Is Still Making the Playoffs
When we say Russell Westbrook is making the playoffs, we mean no disrespect to the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder players, but the alpha-male will average a triple double in contributions every night. The team took a drastic step back losing Kevin Durant in free agency; but Westbrook still remains optimistic about the team, after new additions of Victor Oladipo and Ersan Ilyasova.
OKC was almost near a trade for Rudy Gay last week until back-up point guard Cameron Payne got injured, so general manager Sam Presti is still trying to build something around his franchise player. It’s unlikely that the Thunder will make a deep playoff push, at least this year, but Russell giving his all every night should have fans intrigued for next summer and the competition worried if they can attract a few pieces through free agency or something before the all-star break.
