The NYC Crowd
Whenever World Wrestling Entertainment is in New York City (and Chicago), we tend to always watch just on the strength of how crazy the people are of the cities. This was evident throughout the entire SummerSlam 2015 event in Brooklyn, as the live audience had some wrestlers trying their hardest to keep a straight face. While we expect the night after SummerSlam crowd to be its most wildest on live TV during Monday Night Raw, the Sunday Barclay’s Center collective had their fair share of thrills for the night.
From chanting NO to Brie Danielson paying homage to her injured husband with the Yes-kicks, to mocking Roman Reigns with a Romans Sleeping chant, we’re sure the powers that be were pretty pissed at the audience nearly taking over the show. The smart-marks even had us laughing from their hilarity of Sami Zayn’s Ole! chant to make light of the opening Orton vs. Sheamus meeting; and even thanking Jon Stewart well after his interference of John Cena, had us desperately trying to breathe for air.
