#WeWantLana!!!!

For the first time in over six years, WWE finally left Los Angeles to bring the 2015 edition of their second biggest pay-per-view of the year to Brooklyn, New York. The Barclay’s Center was quickly sold out for three consecutive nights, as the McMahons booked NXT Takever, Monday Night Raw and the much talked about Summer Slam event.

Much like our WrestleMania recap last spring, we were convinced that WWE put on one of their better showcases for the event in quite some time, enabling us to quickly put together some of our favorite moments from the show.

Former Comedy Central Daily Show head, Jon Stewart, was tapped to host the event in his hometown and wouldn’t disappoint – leaving the entire crowd and everyone watching above in shock. His opening monologue with Mic Foley (getting his usual cheap-pops) was enough to keep us mildly intrigued for the night.

That was until we learned his true purpose for being at the event later on in the night, which changed the company’s outlook. If you’ve already watched the event on WWE Network, then you can continue after this page for an entire recap of our favorite moments. However, if you’re yet to watch the event, it would be in your best interest to avoid spoilers and social media for the next few hours, to fully enjoy another great live event from WWE.
