2014 NBA All-Star Jerseys Will Feature Sleeves

We know NBA fans across the world just let out a sigh upon reading the title. But yes, this year’s NBA All-Star jerseys will feature sleeves.

The jerseys follow the same format we saw during the Christmas games and according to Adidas’ head of global basketball sports marketing, the uniforms will homage to the city of New Orleans, who will be hosting this year’s festivities on February 16.

Each year, we look forward to developing a unique on-court look for the players that pays homage to the host city and adds to the excitement of this highly anticipated game. This year’s All-Star collection reflects New Orleans’ festive musical history while also providing the premium performance elements that NBA athletes have grown accustomed to.

The All-Star jerseys will also be void of numbers, which appear on the left sleeve. As you can see in the picture above, the East will be wearing the blue and green colorway, while the West will wear the red and purple ensemble.

Is there a petition out there to boycott sleeves on jerseys moving forward?
