“That statement wasn’t a good idea. . .”
Thursday evening, the Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor week-long campaign showcase made its way to Brooklyn – for a stop at Barclays Center. After having the public wait for nearly 3 hours, the fashionably late stars soon returned with a slew of personal jabs. Mayweather would throw a nearly $10,000 in one dollar bills on stage, to make it rain on his opponent.
The Notorious One wasn’t impressed, giving his best Nature Boy Ric Flair impersonation – only wearing a robe. Just a day prior, he mocked Floyd about being a 40-year-old man, who carries around a book bag (see: making it rain) and can’t read. However, before ending the previously mention topic, Conor had some eye-raising comments about Mayweather’s former right-hand guy.
McGregor went to say, “Shout out to all the stripper bitches on his payroll. At least Rob Kardashian only had one. He has 50.” Conor almost went into a freestyle, during his tirade at his opponent, saying 50 Cent was bankrupt and Floyd was on the verge of joining him. After calling 50 Cent a bitch, multiple times, the boss took to social media soon after and responded.
For Mayweather’s fiftieth fight, only one person should accompany him down to the ringht
