Aaron Rodgers Likely Out 2017 Season with Broken Collarbone

The Green Bay Packers season may officially be over, as their team captain left today’s game on a cart. Midway through the opening quarter of Green Bay’s afternoon game against the Minnesota, Aaron Rodgers was injured by opposing linebacker Anthony Barr.

Following the hit, Rodgers was seen yelling profanity at the Vikings LB, who has a history with injuring quarterbacks (see: Matt Barkley). Jay Glazer of Fox Sports revealed that Green Bay initially feared that the injury was a severe and began immediate testing on their franchise star.

After 30-minutes, the team issued a statement to the public – confirming that Aaron Rodgers officially suffered a broken collarbone on his throwing arm and will likely miss the rest of the 2017 season. With the team currently ranked 4-1, we can’t see them making a significant run this winter – let alone making the playoffs. Take a look at the injury below.
