The free agent dominos keep falling and Dwight Howard is the latest piece to make a move. The center was very impressed after meeting with the Atlanta Hawks and it is now reported that Howard has signed a 3-year deal with the team, worth $70.5 million.

This means Dwight is coming home and will be earning the most of any center in the league this free agency, averaging $23.5 million in salary.

The former number one pick had a tough time in Houston last season and has shifted over to the Eastern Conference again, giving the Hawks an interior presence that could benefit them moving forward, and possibly giving them a chance in a playoff push.

Of course, this will also depend on what Al Horford and Kent Bazemore do, but Atlanta has the pieces in place to at least make the post-season next year. Dwight will undoubtedly be a big part of the team next season now and going home is never a bad thing to do. Ultimately, it will depend on how much he can adjust to the new offense and regain his All-Star and All-Defensive form.
