The Los Angeles Clippers will be missing one of their big men for the next month or so, as Blake Griffin will undergo right knee surgery to remove loose bodies in the knee, which will take about 3-6 weeks to recover from.

Last season, Griffin only played in 35 games thanks to injuries in his left quad and right hand.

The Clippers are currently 20-8 and 4th in the Western Conference and could see Griffin back by the end of January, where the schedule gets tougher. Leading into All-Star break a bulk of the teams they will play do not currently have a winning record, not until February.

Blake has been averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists this season.
