Brandon Ingram Crosses Up DeMar DeRozan & Slams It on Jonas Valanciunas

It has been a hit-and-miss year for Brandon Ingram. The No. 2 pick in the last NBA Draft has shown flashes of what he could potentially become for the Los Angeles Lakers, but he’s still getting adjusted to the NBA game. He still has some time to become a force in the league, though.

Last night against the Toronto Raptors, Ingram pulled a highlight move to start the year.

In the third quarter with the score close, the rookie sized up DeMar DeRozan at the top of the key and crossed him up. Once he got past him and saw the open lane to the rim, he took advantage and slammed the rock home all over Jonas Valanciunas.

The Lakers ended up losing, and Ingram only finished with 6 points on the night.

Kyle Lowry was the man of the game for the Raptors, as he dropped 41 points on L.A. and hauling down 9 rebounds. DeRozan also came through with a solid 31 point performance.
