Carmelo Anthony Hits Game Winner Against the Raptors

In a game where Paskal Siakam, Marc Gasol, Fred VanVleet and Norman Powell were all missing for the Toronto Raptors, the Portland Trail Blazers had to pounce for the win on the road.

Led by 28 points by Carmelo Anthony, it was the Blazers veteran who hit the clutch shot to give the squad the W.

With only seconds remaining, Melo got the ball at the top of the key and sank the bucket.

Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum has respectable games, dropping 20 points and 10 points respectively, with young Anfernee Simons contributing 12 off the bench.

Though the Raptors were shorthanded, Kyle Lowry still carried the team on his back scoring 24 points, with Serge Ibaka chipping in 17 points of his own in the loss.

The win puts the Blazers in contention for the 8th seed in the Western Conference, as the first half of the season comes to a close.
