Carmelo Anthony Will Only Waive His No-Trade Clause for Rockets

The saga between Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks continues and he’s making it real hard for them to ship him out of town. As we all know, ‘Melo is fed up with the Knicks organization and wants to get out of Madison Square Garden, but the options have come down to one team.

Apparently, the Cleveland Cavaliers are no longer a destination that Anthony wants for himself and there are reports that say he will only waive his no-trade clause for the Houston Rockets.

The banana boat brothers of LeBron James and ‘Melo will not be playing on the same team, but he does want to play with Chris Paul and James Harden down in H-Town. The only problem is, the Rockets can’t offer the Knicks front office of Steve Mills and Scott Perry something solid in return. They don’t want Ryan Anderson‘s bloated salary and they traded away some good pieces to acquire CP3. It’s like both sides are at a standstill with Anthony in purgatory.

Carmelo wants out. The Knicks want to send him packing. It’ll happen at some point, right?
