Cavaliers Trade for Rodney Hood, Send Iman Shumpert to Kings

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a fire-sale of players today, completely revamping the roster in hopes to keep LeBron James in town past this season.

Not only did they trade Isaiah Thomas to the Los Angeles Lakers, but they also shifted pieces in a three-team deal for Rodney Hood and George Hill. The Cavs will send Iman Shumpert and a 2020 second-round pick to the Sacramento Kings and they will get Joe Johnson from the Utah Jazz too.

Utah will acquire Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose in the deal.

In related Cavs trade news, Dwyane Wade has been traded back to the Miami Heat for a conditional second round pick as Cleveland gets younger and more athletic.
