Chandler Parsons Signs Max Deal with Grizzlies Worth $94.8 Million

NBA: Playoffs-Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks

We saw Chandler Parsons having fun on Toni Garrn’s Instagram than him on the court last season, but that didn’t stop the Memphis Grizzlies from giving him a max contract.

With the likes of the Portland Trail Blazers offering him a max sheet, Parsons is reuniting with J.B. Bickerstaff in Memphis, on a 4-year deal worth $94.8 million dollars. The Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic were also suitors but well behind the Blazers and Grizz.

Parsons suffered multiple injuries during his tenure with the Dallas Mavericks, which included hybrid microfracture surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery to fix a torn meniscus. Doctors have cleared him to resume full basketball activities.

Now the Grizzlies can concentrate on keeping Mike Conley, who is meeting with the Mavs today.
