Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of chatter coming out of Miami concerning Chris Bosh. The Heat all-star wanted to make it back on the court and the organization has been hesitant to let him return because of his blood clot condition. This is the same condition that held him out for most of last season and the one that’s kept him on the sidelines since the All-Star break.
Bosh was growing extremely frustrated, seeking opinions of doctors other than those of the team doctors, even involving the NBA Players Association to help the cause.
Today, the fight ends. The team has announced that Bosh will not play this postseason.
The team and doctors were concerned that if Chris made it back to the court, there was a chance he could die. Obviously, nobody wants that for him, but the saga can now be put to rest so the squad can continue their playoff run and hopefully make it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
