Just leave the UFC alone bro. . .
Saturday night, CM Punk was home in Chicago to open up for UFC 225. This marked his second time in the octagon; as he was looking to avenge his fall sixteen loss to Mickey Gall, where he submitted in the first round. Unfortunately for Punk, Mike Jackson came into the fight prepared and ready to establish a balanced attack – something that CM hasn’t been properly taught.
Throughout the bout, Jackson remained the aggressor, which surprisingly lasted the full 3-rounds. We’re assuming Mike didn’t want to permanently damage CM Punk, as he was transported to a local hospital immediately after the fight for a facial CT scan. Considering this embarrassing defeat in his home town, it’s safe to say that Punk will likely end his career in UFC after tonight.
