Damian Lillard Sinks Last Second Shot to Beat L.A. Lakers

You may have seen Damian Lillard promoting his album Confirmed more than him play basketball lately, but the season has started and his skill on the court should not be questioned. Dame D.O.L.L.A. was at home playing against the Los Angeles Lakers last night and he gave the Portland Trail Blazers crowd something to cheer about at the end.

With only seconds left and the rock in his hands, Lillard went up against Brandon Ingram to set up the last shot of the game. The score was tied at 110 each and Dame knew he had to seal the game. So, he did.

Taking a step-back jumper against Ingram is what it came down to and the long range 3-pointer went in. The crowd went bonkers afterwards.

Lillard finished the game leading all scorers with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on the night, while C.J. McCollum had 22 points of his own. Jusuf Nurkic also contributed with 28 points and 5 rebounds for the Blazers.

On the other side of the ball, Lonzo Ball was held scoreless, going 0-2 from the field and only having 4 assists in the loss. Brook Lopez led the Lakers in scoring with 27 points and Kyle Kuzma had 22 points off the bench.
