DeMarcus Cousins Talks About His Tenure in Sacramento and Biggest Regret

To say that DeMarcus Cousins‘ relationship with the Sacramento Kings was rocky is an understatement. There were plenty of lows there until he got the surprise that he got shipped out and was going to play with Anthony Davis in New Orleans with the Pelicans. It’s his chance to prove himself again and show why he’s one of the best centers in the league.

In this talk with ESPN, he opens up about what he regrets about his time in Northern California, pointing to the fact he didn’t leave when he wanted to. Apparently, he could have exited when George Karl became coach, but chose to stay put out of loyalty and optimism that things would work out.

He regrets that decision because at the end of the day, basketball is a business, so he should look out for his best interests when it’s all said and done.
