Derrick Rose Drops Career-High 50 Points Against Jazz

With Jimmy Butler out for precautionary and rest reasons, other players on the Minnesota Timberwolves had to step up and take over in his place.

In the most unlikely of places, Derrick Rose was the one to go off against the Utah Jazz last night, scoring a career-high 50 points in his 10th season in the NBA. He was certainly in the zone as far as scoring, but he was also dishing out passes, considering he had 6 assists on the night as well.

After the game, Rose got very emotional during a post-game interview after a standing ovation from the crowd. He said he’s been working his ass off and made sure he thanked the organization and fans, for helping him play to that level.

It was a special moment for Derrick, especially after how much he’s been through throughout his career. It’s very well deserving.

FINAL: MIN 128 | UTAH 125
